Monolithic refractory materials mainly include refractory castables, refractory spray coatings, refractory gunning materials, refractory plastics, refractory ramming materials, refractory pressure castables, refractory projection materials, refractory coating materials, refractory mud, and dry vibrating materials.

(1) Refractory castables. Refractory castables, also known as refractory concrete or refractory castables, are formulated with refractory aggregates and powders with appropriate binders and admixtures. They have good thixotropic properties and are generally constructed by pouring or pouring and vibrating.

(2) Refractory spray coating and gunning material. The composition of refractory spray coating and gunning material is close to that of refractory castable, and the particle gradation should be adapted to the special requirements of spraying or gunning construction. Refractory spray coating is not much different from gunning material, which is named after it is used to repair furnace linings.

(3) Refractory plastic. Refractory plastics are made of refractory aggregates and powders with appropriate binders and additives. (4) Refractory ramming material. The refractory ramming material is prepared by refractory aggregate and powder with appropriate binder and admixture. It is loose and constructed by a strong ramming method.

(5) Refractory pressure injection. Refractory pressure injection is composed of refractory aggregate, powder, binder, and admixture, which is in paste or mud shape.
